Let's Meet...

Marco Cuevas

Being in the air has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager. I took a flight with my dad in a biplane back in the late 90's, little did I know how a spark back then would smolder and grow into the most fulfilling career of my life!

Over the last 7 years, my journey as an aviator has taken me through 2 jobs, 2 old-school log books, 8 different airframes, over 40 airports across 14 states, and nearly 3200 flight hours creating hundreds of lifetime memories!

More recently, I became closer to my faith and the role it plays not just in my life but how I am meant to lead my family and have an impact on those who I come in contact with.

Aside from spending my time in the sky, I have developed wonderful connections in the Veteran community so that I have opportunities to continue my service beyond the uniform. After 14 years in the Navy with several deployments, including to Afghanistan, I know all too well the needs my fellow brothers and sisters face as civilians.

When not involved with what's mentioned above, you can find me working on my business(es) while I continue to grow my family's wealth.

I'm A Commercially Certificated Pilot

I didn't just stop at becoming a private pilot, I went all in to make this my career as a foundation to building a life for my family and having an impact worthy of the gifts I've received as a child of God.

The specific certificates I hold are Air Transport Pilot Single Engine Land with a Type Rating in the Cirrus Vision Jet (SF50), and Commercial Multi-Engine Land both with Instrument rating.

I Hold 2 Degrees From Ohio Institutions

Thanks to the GI Bill, I received the following:

1. A Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Ashland University

2. An Associates of Aeronautical Science from American Winds College of Aeronautics

Volunteering Is Important To Me

I am a member of two Veteran's organizations and have held officer positions in one of them. I served 1 year as a Jr. Vice Commander of one VFW post and then 2 years as a Quartermaster in another. I co-founded and ran a non-profit for 5 years focused on connecting Veterans to alternative therapies. Sadly, the unexpected death of my friend and other co-founder forced the closure of the organization. I have also held positions on the board of 2 other organizations - currently with WingsUp Northeast Ohio.

I Earned A US Parachute Association License

In 2009, I did my first 2 parachute jumps before I deployed to Afghanistan. I fell in love with it so much that on my 2 week vacation from deployment, I went to San Diego, CA to complete their training course resulting in 45 additional jumps and purchasing my own skydiving rig. I went on to earn my coach rating and "C" license, completing over 350 jumps including several into public events.

My Side-Hustle Is Epic

The LLC I own has specialized in many things over the years. Starting out as a food stand in 2010 at my skydiving drop zone, then after morphing into a snow plowing company it took a back burner in 2013. I revived it in 2015 to focus on helping people with their personal finances, as well as small businesses and

non-profits with their digital presence.

MC Business Lab currently sells "Your Last Budget"(TM) spreadsheet and course, runs several lead generation websites, and is the launching point for my real-estate development company.
